

Yeah, that was a big design flaw in Civ V that overcentralized science. You actually need to specialise to get science and making every city produce it means you're getting less of the other yields. I most like you don't just get free science for having a library and a big population. It looks like science has been deemphasized, so I think a balanced science civ could be possible. Science was by far the most important thing to prioritize in V, and the civilizations that focused on it Babylon, Korea, Maya were among the best. It seems like they learned their lesson from last time to not have a straight-up science focused civilization. It seems there are a lot of culture, religion, and domination focused civs but very few science ones.Īll I can think of so far is.
